I would do the extra gear, Ive already done the motor mod and I hate it but I have another zzmt pc board so I still have the the stock motor to use.

None of them will but the blue sucks the batteries less but I would recomend doing this mod it slows down your truck in no time when you steer.

Dont worry most of us waste alot of them. I have bought 2 zipzaps, which are both in parts and pieces, one zipzap se that dosnt work and a zipzap mt that is missing a part.

Why not use rosin core solder its only a tiny zipzap with like no electricity. Usually people only use extra flux on real remote control cars when they have a very high amp draw motor and good...

thats not a real zipzap so it most likely came like that. You could make It like that by painting the inside translucent blue though.

There is no "one step motor" its the pc board...

There is no "one step motor" its the pc board that varies the volts going to the motor for variable speed.

yes you will. Go to cheap batterypacks.com they have it it is the 1/3 aaa. you will recognize it. And the monster truck already has a duel cell I think you mean a tricell or 4 cell.
