yeah, it fits under the body. its just alot of putting the body on just the front, then shaking it around till the back fits. you may have to push it a little, but it doesnt do anything.

find a model, and just cut it off. i found mine...

find a model, and just cut it off. i found mine off an old broken olds 442 model. the Tach part in the hood. just cut it out, bondo it on, and yer good.

just a little research to back up my xplode bashing.

the Sony XS-L1290P5... sony's highest line 12" sub only handles 500 watts RMS.

Mine handle 400, and they were nearly 200 bucks cheaper....
