Gear noise...

Is anybody else's super slick really loud??

I have a couple of bits and clones but nothing is as loud as this thing.

Any suggestions??

There's only one battery pack, but it is made of 2, 1.2v cells.

load up the rear gear w/ some petroleum jelly- much quieter and smoother- don't go nuts w/ it though ; )

If you remove the two screws under the car, you easily lube the axle (it will come out). You can use a bit more lube in the middle of the axle, but be careful near the ends, too much will attract dust and lint.

Oh, also put tape on the around the idler shaft that pokes out of the chassis, it stops the hopping action that makes the gears so noisy.
