Front left wheel binds up, halting operation.
The front left wheel of my Micro binds up, and actually stops the car and cranks it to the left during a straight run.
What is the safest way to pull the axle pin out of the knuckle, without damaging anything? I'm assuming I need to clean and lubricate the wheel, so I might as well do both front wheels together. Any tips?
Thanks!

I read that link before posting, and it is not terribly useful. I'm interested in knowing how to remove the pins. Pliers, pin punch, big friggin' hammer, etc...

Pushing the pin out with another smaller pin is a good way to do it... the tricky part is getting a grip on the white knuckle to push it without breaking it...

I actually had to do this over the weekend. I have a small screwdriver set from Craftsman that is in a little cylinder shaped holder. The center section where the screwdriver handle goes has a hole just smaller than the wheel so I put it there, stuck the small screwdriver on the pin and hit it with my palm. It came right out. I'm not sure if this screwdriver set is still available but if it is, it's handy and it works for the wheel thing.

drill a small hole in a phone book or similar.. set the wheel on it (so the pin can fall into it) and gently hammer the pin out with a hammer and small screwdriver/punch.. when reinstalling the pin you'll need to use a small dab of glue to keep it in place.. make sure you use the glue on the wheel side and NOT the knuckle side! don't wanna glue your suspension.. =)
