antenna mod ?
alrite well i took apart the zip zap and accidently snapped off the antenna from the soder part (oops) so i guess im forced to do the antenna mod, i have a question tho, i know the antenna is sodered to the bottom of the pcb (the part that faces down where all the wires are connected to) but would it be possible to soder it to the top? i think it would be alot easier , thanks, also what kind of wire should i get? what would be the best to use ... thanks

how do u do the antenna mod? what tools will i need? does it help?

you take off the chassis (the body) take off the plastic thing covering the green circut board , (look for the two tabs near the motor and pull each one off but dont break em) then you have access to the PCB , carefully tug it out but be sure not to break any of the wires and follow the antenna wire to where its sodered into the pcb, tug it out or soder it out or whever and just re-soder in a different wire, voila , brand new better reception

Yes, you can solder it to the top of the pcb, that's how I have my car.
