Just tried the 3V Camera Battery...Holy Crap !!!!!!!
This son of a buck is fast.
Its got the 2.2 in it and its more than twice as fast with the 3V Lithium Camera Battery.
I will definatly be doing a rechargeable 3V setup cause these buggers will freaking move.

heh ive been using those since day one 
they also make your car last slightly longer on one charge

for some reason i couldnt find them at food stores...*shrug

hey, aren't the 3v lithium camera battery too long for the chasis??? how did you get it to fit?

the battery i have (from radio shack) is about 2 centimeters shorter than the stock battery
well i dont know if its 2 centimeters cause i dont know from numbers but its about 4/5ths or 5/6ths the size of the stock battery

Part number!!!  There should be a 'catalog' number on the battery packaging, usually the upper right hand corner. Should be a 2 or 3 digit number, then a dash (-) then another number.. I forgot what the first 2 or 3 digits of the cat number is for batteries but I think it's 270?

Yes but how do you recharge them? Does the duel bat charge mod http://tinyrc.com/qfm/racing/mod_07.htm#26 work?
What about charge time? how long are those bats going to last (how many charges)...

i dont even know if the Lithium Camera Batteries are rechargable.
Does anyone know?????
I hope they are, I plan on making a plug-in bit charger so thats what ill use to juice it.

That's not rechargeable and I've used a few of those but found better.
