I just thought that the charger inside the controller might not send the full voltage thru at once. Maybe charging on 4 cells would melt the little battery in the car?

I want to do the Laymans dual cell mod, but I dont want to hack up my one and only controller to be able to charge it. Can I just use a rechargeable 4 cell nicad battery to charge up the bit? Like...

My only idea would be that somehow the boost is reversed. This way it is taking power away from the PCB for the motor, reducing reception? I dont know. Sorry :mad:
