i'd say its waaaay easier to chop a chassis.... yeah you have to deal with wires but its a lot easier to get it straight and lookin ok than a body... i mean getting a u shape channel to fit back...

Well, yes it reduces torque, but increases speed. the new axle slot was made with a hacksaw, gently making a slot, then i added some plastic around the slot for extra front/back support.

this removes all gear noise... at least the grinding rattle from the transfer gear. And nobody else has tried this yet. i'm stumped.
