thats not cad. thats solidworks... solidworks provides a more accurate 3d rendering or an easier to use 3d modeling feature...

well technically it is cad, just not autocad. Solidworks also has a drafting feature along with the 3d modeling that will make a 2d drawing (of any view) out of your 3d part or assembly. It automatically does hidden lines and dimensioning is a breeze.

true. CAD (computer aided drafing or drawing or design...depending on the circle you live in) I work on AutoCAD daily.. and its commonly called CAD. hence the confusion.. Ive been with 3 different firms. all of which have used autocad.. ahhh i remember the days of the digitizer and puck... ahh so much fun playing in R10. anyway it was my oversight.
time to search for the solidworks website to find out if this program renders on the fly...

it does to an extent. the newer version than i have might do it better, but mine just colors stuff in. It slows it down a whoooole bunch

I dont know whos this is, i justfound it on sigmaautomotive.com.
the body is immaculate  ! it looks like a cross b tween a Skyline and a Lamboghini! its a shame about the color though, it woul b nicer in dark metallic blue or dark yellow. If some 1 has a translator, pleeze post a translation of the description!
