if you have a old wall plug style charger ,like frim an old cell phone or drill... you can clip the end and strip it and solder it on the terminal area's on the broken control

I had a zz that had no idler but it did have two motors

The monster truck motor should provide enough torque...

well, it should not be the MS motor because A MS only has a 50 mah battery. If the antenna is on the car then you could have fried your pcb when you where attaching it.

Not fully sure though
