Can you return it? Sounds like some wires crossed or something. I had to exchange my first Z-Car, it didn't work right out of the box but I didn't have any problems exchanging it.

Cool The 3.0 engine definitely shortened my run time...

The 3.0 engine definitely shortened my run time compared to the stock 2.2 motor...but the extra speed is worth it! I may have to upgrade to the 150mah battery.

Yeah, biggest motor for Z-car is 3.0 in fact I don't think that the 3.8 is even an official Microsizers motor...I think it's like an aftermarket motor. From what I've heard they're interchangeable...

To get the motor out you pop off the body. You then have to remove the metal bracket...it just pops off there's a small tab on the back of the car, use a pen tip or something to press it in and up...

That's where I got mine and they're pretty cool. The only thing is the stock 2.2v motor is kinda slow. So I upgraded to a 3.0v motor and it goes pretty quick but now I'm thinking of getting the 3.8...
