Dropped Spyder

I lowered my eclipse spyder convertable.....as you can see, i cant use the insert with the seats, but i think it looks pretty cool.

I really like it. I was thinking of dropping the sypder too because it sits so high on the chasis. Good job

yeah...i liked the body til i put it on the chassis....knew right away i would never use it unsless i dropped it.

Hey i was just wondering how you made the new holes for the tab, i was thinking of getting a dremel but if you used something diff i would ty that on some of my "broken" bodies

i used a dremel...get one...well worth the money...thousands of uses...and it's the best tool for modding your zip.

There is one cutting blade that is the exact width of the slot that needs to cut, that is what I use.

A little different way to drop the car would be to cut the tabs off of the chassis, take something like an old phone card, etc., cut it into a similar strip and glue that strip onto the chassis at a lower position than the original tab. Personally it just seems to be a little easier than lowering the body.

that would work too...only problem with that is any body you use on that chassis would more than likely have to have the wheel wells dremmeled or filed to fit....i guess you could use that chassis for dropped cars only....
