need grip

when i first got my hard ribbed tires my car wouldnt go strait. so i took the car into my kitchen and put it on the floor and obsirbed the how the car took off. i noticed that it tended to fishtail the rear into a 360. i tried switching the rear geared weel witha stock grip tire. i tried taking off again wit the stock tire which made it go strait without any problems.

I guess I don't understand what you're trying to say...

Hard ribbed tires will spin out. That's why they have 'soft' tires. Put soft tires on the rear for traction, and hard on the front.(that is if you don't want to turn very sharp) Hard compound's are slick, soft compounds are grippy.

Oh yeah, and given the gyro-characteristics of the motor vs. rear axle mounting, one side will grip better than the other. I don't have any problems with using both rears grippy, though.

HJ, you're like a broken record man. Just because Tomy pullback wheels are the absolute best set-up on the rear, doesn't mean that everyone need's them. Maybe he likes circles.
