RMYC's Lighted Antenna Mod
here is a mod i did on my 1/28 mini-z..
some one should try it on a multi cell bit
i used a smt led... and thin enamel coated copper wire

umm... didnn't undrstand that.. but any ways... this is my mod a have done ,but beacuse i had only 1 smt led ( the other burntout when desoldering) i try i't on my mini-z.
i soldered thin copper wires( kinda like the steering wires ) to the SMTled andsuper glued the led to the tip of the antenna. cause the wires are very thin, i wrapped the aroung the antenna and into the car. it's fairly easy once you sand off the enmel coating on the wire and solder it on the SMT-led

no, you need something that contduct electricity for an antenna. fibre optic cable is a type of plastic.
