Here's a pix of my 5 CELL "SPEC1 CASTROL SUPRA"
Here she is!! My newest "5 cell creation" fastest and the furious epoch indoor racer SPEC1 CASTROL SUPRA!! It features all 5 nimh cells with no mix match nicads this time!! The run time is not that great, however the power of torque and speed is phenomenal!!
Tell me what you guys think..

Very cool - how does the speed compare with 4-cell?

REPLY...
the speed is way better than the 4 cell. more uncontrollable torque and way more speed..
i checked the motor case and it does gets warm..i even opened the case and inspected the brushes and they are still thick and commutator's still shiny...

Tell me MicroRCracer,
I there room to stick a cell on the underside of the roof? And shoo goo it in place? I would also help the stability. What do you think?

Reply for Gertmeister!!
It will not work at all under the rooftop. I tried it and it doesnt clear and the body will simply wont fit. however, i kinda messed up cuz i should have dremeled out the hood and mount it there instead..I just didnt realized it at the time and barely realized it when i discovered it for my Skyline Dragster.. by the way, you dont need shoe goo to mount the batteries..all you have to do is use doublesided tape..i prefer using servo doublesided tape since it sticks the best...
