weight reduction.....worth it?

yeah hmm...kinda got me thinking..
because i took off my spoiler...and it ran slightly faster....and then i noticed i could do a few more things to reduce the weight....like taking off the plastic cap in the interior [might be a bad idea]
i could also cut out parts of where there would be holes/vents in the front bumper and hood....or maybe even cut out a side window or 2...

and then i ask...is it worth it to sacrifice looks for speed?

It depends on you. Unless u race these for money (or get alot of joy out of just WINNING a race) i would keep the looks. Cause to reduce weight, you could just take off the whole body, and you'll have something that looks similar to the mars rover thing that zooms.

I think appearance is a BIG part of the whole bit package.

heh no ones gonna race with a moon buggie
just hideous looking

well the things i mentioned kept the body intact...and u could still tell what car it was....
but maybe just a faster motor is the answer
