Work in Progress UPDATE

Well, after running my metal custom Vw Bus , I decided it was just too heavy . I was able to capture good speed with a dual mod , but wasn't happy with the handling . I decided to go RESIN .
Still working on wheel Wells but will be done soon .
Pix to Follow ,..before and after .

So, is that car molded out of metal? Or did you buy the body?

It looks awesome though

I'm not sure what you are asking , but the grey buses are
metal and were chopped and reworked . The tan bus is a resin
cast of the reworked metal bus . Hope that answers your
question .

The grey buses are just models , so that I can cast resin clones
from them . The resin VDubs will definetly be painted !!

Denden, you have to hook me up. That is one of my favorite cars. Tell me what you want. I have a few of my own resin bodies that I molded (2 different style Supra's). Maybe you'd like to trade?

Either way....I have to have that! Great job.

Just out of curiosity, what process did you use to mold it? Two-piece mold, one-piece, etc...?
