2 cell mod done but doesnt work?
Ok I have been working hard on this dual cell sh*t for 2 days. I think I have it wired all right and despite many roadblocks, I finished. Now the car is almost all put back together except for the civic cover, and it seems like it runs just like it used to. I am using the battery that came with the ZZ and one exactly like that. I rewired the control to charge the car on te 2 AAA batterys. IT performs just like it did before the mods? any I deas whats wrong? thanks.

A few ideas, make sure that the batteries are wired correctly. I also did that mod and tried charging with the 2 AAA; didn't work. Try charging with 4AA and if everything is wired correctly you should have a completely different car.

make sure you have a peice of tape or plastic over the negative side of the original battery

yeah I have duct tape over the end of the negative terminal, but I am going to try the 4 AA charger. Also, when I charge it on the 2AAA I find only the origanal battery is getting warm. Anyone else got ideas?

Make sure you wired it in series and not parallel.
