Can it be done

square controllers, round controllers I dont find any of em fitting to my hand, heh.

I was thinking about Playstation / Xbox controlers......

The Xbox is pretty big, i was just wondering if you guys think it would fit or not..... I dont have the resources at the moment to try it out. Maybe someone would like to give it a go

*looks outside at the blizzard......wonders what happened to that bit snowmobile idea*

*cough* It's been done *cough*

Search function is there for a reason, if you can't find it here; try mods & projects.

As for the snow mobile bit, I've seen snow flakes bigger than these things! However, it *would* be possible to make one. But completely useless in the snow!

The hardest part would be designing the spring-loaded articulating the rear-track. Making skis wouldn't be too hard. And it really wouldn't take too much to seal the standard tub-chassis. Damn, now I'm thinking about it.

I help out people as much as possible when i can, People see stuff like that and it causes the forum to loose its personal appeal. If you hapen to know where it is POST A LINK!!!! dont insult other people...... I have read this forum for a long time, And have never seen it, I HAVE searched and havnt found it..............

I have seen playstation pads used.....Never seen anything xbox related.............. perhaps someone can be of more assistrance to me.

Sorry if I have been out of line in any way, although I dont feel I have
thanx

Playstation1 controllers would fit perfectly mostlikely with a multi Fequency controler.

Any of those controllers would probably work, just not with the propo controls. Easy enough to beep out the wires' functions with a multimeter or continuity tester.

Charger, you will definitely have to either incorporate a charger within the controller or have a station charger built.

With the power source requirement for a standalone Bit Char-G controller on a PS2/Xbox controller, building a charger on it will require more space. Maybe the Xbox controller has ample rom for both of these.

Just a guess.... but I was thinking maybe the handles of the PS controller dont have much if any electronice in em, and should have space for a few AA's or somethin...... Just a guess though.

Damn heh I really wanna make this now... will have to wait till april till I get back in my own country..
