How to fit 2 cells.

I tired the mod where you put 2 cells in the cars frame. Where you cut the tab off in the middle of the frame and stick the second bat. there. My problem is I cant fit it back together the PCB wont go down. Theres some resistors on each side sticking down then at the front of the board some nylon plastic I dont now what it is thing on it. Im trying to do it on a black mustang. I dont now if that has anyting to do with it. I now of some posts saying there board is different has anyone tried 2 cells with it? Also they are just the stock zip batts.

usually when you do the dual cell in the chasis the pcb sticks out but you should get 2 150nmah and itll probably fit in there

Instead of putting it in the chassis I tried one of the bit wheelie bars. It works good but the steering sucks. Has anyone else who does 2 cells notice this. For one it really understeers. Two you can even see the steering tweak when I push it. I goes the direction I want then quick back to straight then back to the direction. Is it too much for the steering electro magnets?

thing is, if u put it on a wheelie bar, the weight is behind the motor and htus behind the rear wheels. since the weight distribution is now more biased to the rear, the front wheels don't have enough downforce to get the right traction and it understeers. try this, just before a turn, let off the gas, turn, then tap the gas again. releasing the throttle would shift the weight to the front, thus giving the front wheels more grip.

...i tried 2 cells for about2 days then gave up i dont have patience to mess with stuff like this ...if it aint broke dont mess with it...

I agree with you on that one. I got the 2 cells to work but im not overly impressed with it. Maybe I just did a bad installation but my steering is weak now and all the car does half the time is flip over. I just use a red motor but the speed is good but not as great as I thought it would be.
