WOW! its here!

WOW I must thank TinyR/C for adding the M-chassis to the forums!!!

I'm very pleasntly surprised that it was added since it didn't seem to many people were interested in my "petition" thread....

Well since this is a parts and hopup forums,

Heres my M-03 stats

Novak Super rooster ESC with no motor limit...

Futaba rx and tx(one of the lesser models) I hope to get a M8 TX soon to have all my R/C cars use that...

I'm using a futaba S3003 servo for steering

Team assc. Reedy Modified 9 turn double motor()

Tamiya 8 spoke alloy wheels(will post pics of those later)

Right now I'm using stock tires that seem to give really good grip but wear pretty fast especially with the 9 turn. You have to remember this car is FWD so all the power on this car goes to the wheels it also uses to turn...

my car..

uhh.. dont know much about it.. here it goes

m01 chassis converted to m02 (RWD)
-carbon graphite upper and lower deck
-aluminum, blue anodized steering thing
-blue anodized shocks with yellow springs
-purple anodized allen head wrench screws (yeah!)
-deans plugs for battery and motor
-steel suspension triangle things under the car (the coolest hop up)
-regular furtaba servo electrics with an airtronic gear (complicated story)
-novak xxl receiver
-old novak racer mega fet esc
-trinity "midnight" reverse rotation motor. dunno other specs
-full ball bearing set
-hpi mini star and mini bear chrome painted rims with hpi tires w/foam inserts
-airtronics xl2p transmitter
-in the process of finishing up my body (had to buy the hpi mini cooper body cuz the tamiya one is too damn expensive) my roof is still masked and so are my windows.. have to paint the roof white

as you can see, nothing really performance wise (i think) looks damn cool without the electronics though. i crashed it recently and the bumper mount broke

future plans
-i plan to make a 4 wheel drive 2 motor mini buy using two gear boxes in the front and back from a different m01/m02 chassis.
-perhaps 4 wheel steering? if i can figure out the electronics setup.
-any other suggestions?

Wow yoru car sounds crazy good.....

don't do 4WS it will flip over way to easy.....

How do you like teh HPI tireS? do you have X-Patterns? I wore out my stocks really fast(9 turn) and got the x patters....I don't really like them the are a smaller diameter and they don't seem to provide as much grip....but they look cool

Oh yes do you haev any pics of your car?

so 4wd is ok? just not 4ws eh? hmm.. ill still look into that. pg964, you ever run your car rwd? if so, hows it compare? i havent tried mine fwd yet.. i should try that sometime, but the steel suspension things on the bottom are harder to switch around cuz i they dont use threaded screws. and other easier ways to switch from rwd to fwd?

eh....I only drive my M-03 in FWD because thats what it was meant for But if yoru looking for a easy way to have different drivetrains just get teh other series of M's haha they are pretty affordable enough to just buy a RWD M(M-04L, M-02) and just switch over the electronics.....\

So how do you like your HPI's?

right now, im running my car in m02 chassis configuration (originally it was an m01.) im considering purchasing the m03 chassis because i already bought the chassis extender in hoping of it fitting on the m01.. unfornutately it does not. oh well.. if i do purchase the kit.. i would get a cooler tamiya body.. i should look into that..
btw, hpi tires are good in terms of wear. but then again, i dont have a 9 turn motor.. i want my car to go 50 mph.. booooo
