booster set question

I've broke my supra and I was planning to get another one but now i'm interested in the booster sets, i've read almost all the booster threads and I still don't understand.

correct me if i'm wrong but to my understanding, if I have one with a 2.6, and i'm on 'B' mode, I drive my car around with it being slower than a standard car with a 2.6, then I hit the 'boost' button (like the NOS button in the fast and the furious) and it makes the 2.6 go faster than a standard car with a 2.6. am I right?

And how long does the boost effect last? is it only effective if I hold down the boost button or something? I find this useful for turning in tracks etc.

so A is to control regular cars? and B is for what I described above, and C is for a constant boost speed?

and I understand it is a 4 channel controller, so does this mean theres a seperate thing for adjusting the frequency? like if I buy the 45 mhz booster car, do I just adjust it for 45 mhz THEN fumble with the ABC thing?

sorry for all these questions, but this is really fustrating me, please reply quick, I have made plans with my friend to go get our cars and stuff tomorrow!

thanks!!!

It looks like you got the right idea. The boost lasts until you let off the button. I think that they are designed for a 2.2 motor, but I'm not sure. The controller is goofy like that, but there is a mod for that as well. It looks like you've done all your homework, the next step is to buy one and let us all know how you like it.

Good Luck. I hope that this helps...

Settle down partner, you've still got faster access to it all than most of us. And there's no need to bring the good Lord into this, after all, he didn't buy em all.
