Dual Cell Booster
I put a second stock cell in my Tomy Fairlady Z, wired in series. It has a 2.6 motor in it. The problem is I see no speed change in normal speed, but when I hit the burst button the car is definitely faster than it was with one cell. Any one else see this? Is the boost PCB holding back the power to the motor?

How did you wire the batteries, in series or parallel? And how are you charging it?

Wired in series. I'm using the stock charger and just hitting it twice.

I think the problem may be that ur not using the proper charger. From what I understand (I could be wrong, so someone correct me if I am) you need to charge at the same voltage that ur using. So... since u wired them in series ur doubling the voltage 1.4v x 2 = 2.4. So u'll probably need at least 3-4 AA's to charge it.

Yep, you need to charge at higher voltage. I have a two cell Zip Zap with a booster PCB in it. It goes like normal 1 cell boost speed without the boost, then hit the boost and it flies!

Yeah, I usually use 4 AA's for a 2-cell car, and 6 AA's for a 3 cell car.
