Brand New Body!!
This is my new Land Rover Defender 90 body on a Shen clone. I took the body from a wind-up toy, and it happened to have the same scale!

I thought maybe it would be too "Wild Thornberrys" but I kinda like how it looks. Very "Wild Animal Park"-ish

Rappish 2 English translation
"That thing would look good with a new paint job"

What color would look good on a Defender 90? Land Rover Green?

I'm mainly thinking about doing a full-size wheel mod for the front, but I think it may raise the front end too much. I could always drop the suspension, but who wants to give up suspension on a Land Rover?!
As for painting, it's safe for now. Don't have the patience left after modding the body so it would fit.

hmm...i think the wheels from that hummer would look reaally good on it. Give it that "off road" look. I saw hbarer do it on a pickup...'twas pretty

Extended wheelbase. Trim lever is almost left at default position. I feel, very, scary.

Sounds great. Do you have a pic? Do they clear the chassis, or would I have to shave it?

You sould stick a rifle on top or something and get some 1/64 animals. No explanation needed.

The Hummer H1 tires fit perfectly on a bit's rims. Here's the picture you asked for:
And even though it would ruin the Safari look, I think that Land Rover Green would work out awesome for your truck. Complete the package with some detailing, hummer offroad tires up there, and you're set!
If you need it, here's the H1 tires link - http://www.toyeast.com/proddetail2.asp?pdtid=AH105
