Clone Review: Planet Toys MotorWorks (again)...
Yes I have searched and I know there are 2 good threads regarding them, but bear with me, I have some good information they don't.
First off, let me say this clone is awesome! It is fast, strong, looks good, good range, and easy to modify. It's main weaklink is it's suspension, as it has a very poor turning radius (which is okay if you like sliding a lot ). Anyways it comes with a 1.2NiMH battery standard, and MY GOD! this thing lasts for 15+ minutes with no hesitation whatsoever! I can't tell you the motor, but it is VERY powerful. I can't spin off the line, but sliding the tail out is a sinch. The tires are pretty soft and grippy, but pick up dirt very easily. The range is about 15-20ft, not bad but nothing special. They sell at Wal-Mart for $13.88+tax, which is a steal IMO. You can use it until your smash it and then put the motor (with a little welding since it's wired) and battery in your Bit. It is not the fastest, not the best handling, not the best looking - but TONS OF FUN for $14!
