question for ppl w/booster cars
i wanna get a booster car a bit char-g fairlady or auto modellista and i have a couple questions. ok some one said that the pcb was different then normal ones is that true? 2 has any one tried racing a booster with a normal car with the same gears, motor and everything and see if it actually went faster?3 when you push the boost button does it go noticably faster?

yes i think the PCB is diff
i got 2 auto modellista sets
boost is noticably different
u have to hlod down the button tho
no boost just looks cooler
ur going all slow and then it goes really fast
but when u hit boost, it forces more power
to the motor so it goes about 10more MPH
scale speed

I have raced my honda s2000 with my am set, same gears motor etc...and they are basically same speed...Holding boost makes a major difference for me...without its really slow

I've got the skyline booster set and the boost is great. The boost isn't that great just playing, its cool but not that useful. Now if you plan to race the booster is great. It allows you to run a much hotter motor, it makes it great for the curves. Just let off the button to avoid spinnig out, Its great! The only problem is the range isn't that great.

Not to be a stickler, but I think its a bit more than 10 mph scale speed increase. Lets say your bit goes a scale speed of 130 mph unboosted. It would probably run around 175 mph scale boosted. Theres a very noticeable difference between boosted and unboosted. Also, boosted cars on the juice are faster than single speed cars running the same setup.

Dude, he meant 10 mph faster compared to a normal car with the exact same engine, gears, etc... For example, he has one normal car with ALL the same parts as the boost car (except for boost function), and he was saying that if you have a normal car at max speed, and a boost car with boost on, the boost car goes about 10 mph scale speed faster than the regular car without boost at top speed... Get It? Got It? Good...

Well bates suggested a "hot" (good) motor in a booster, such as a 3.5 or 3.8. And Tiny takes about 3 days to ship to anywhere!
