ive seen small 9v batts (same size as bit bats) in those wireless doorbell pakcages, the batt that hides under the button. u can also buy them form radio shack, not sure of the mah but maybe a ZZ then?? i dunno.. im just thinking how cool it would be. also you could strip the plastic form the shell and figure out a way to mount it inside the car maybe.. look @ its size comapred to a penny.

well i have a x10 cam on its way (paid $40 it was NIB) it will be too big for a bit, i was thinking, however, putting it in my rc 10 GT and doing some jumps @ a local BMX track.. were talking 10ft of air and maybe a rollover or two

wireless cmos

I am finishing up assembling a camera for a suveillance application that is smaller and will effectively transmit images AND sound for 30 min. on a pair of 3V. Your problem other than than obvious size is not only do have to mount them w/ board in the vertical pos. to aim the camera, BUT.... if you read the description closely ( this is for majority of lower priced wireless cams) the transmitter and receiver must be aimed at each other so you need to run around with the rec'vr behind the car. I might try one in my redi-can since it is clear. If I do I'll put a clip up, but no time right now.

no.. they dont need to be aimed @ each other.. to gain the highest range they do.. but just liek any signal (execpt rf) they dont need to be.. x10 says their cams need ot be aimed @ each other as well.. but i never iam it.. and it works.. sur erange is cutr a little short.. but it works.. LOS = line of sight = if the cam and the reciever can see each other.. but like.. it can still go through walls.
