Using peak charger for Epoch, what is a good cutoff?
I'm cycling some of my cars whose runtimes are getting really short and I'm using a peak charger. Wanted to know if anyone knew the best setting for Delta Peak. I've been trying 15mv and it seems it false peaks sometimes.
Thanks,
Robb

I tried 100ma, 200ma, 300ma and a few other settings. I know the transformer that Epoch sells charge at around 750 but I wanted to slow charge the cells in an attempt to "condition" them.
Should the Delta Peak change depending on amp rate?

I am sorry, I really don't know. I do know that the Epoch charger is just a timer.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

We're using Duratrax Pirahna digital peak chargers and experiencing similar results. The charger documentation recommends 8mv for NiMH (and only 6mv for NiCD).
Have you tried a 2x discharge/recharge cycle?

the delta cutoff should be 7mv * the number of cells for NiMH batteries.
the epoch has what...3 cells? set it to 20mv if you can (I dont think the superbrain is all that adjustable, so you can't do 21mv)
