they are both boosters. the auto modellista is a 27mhz car( i have it) while the fairlady is 57mhz(my friend has it).
They are just different frequencies, and different bodies

Happy first post!!! Ok, the only difference is that the Fairlady Z has a Nissan Fairlady Z body and the Auto Modellista set has 4 bodies of cars from the PS2 game "Auto Modellista".
EDIT: I was not talking about frequncies.
Oh, and sorry I was late posting and ended up re-saying what Eman1 said.

I hope they improved the range on these things. I've got the skyline booster set w/ the 4 band controler. The range on it is horrible eaven after the teliscoping antenna on the controller and an 18" whip of copper strand wire. The max I can go is 10'. Other than that the booster cars rock!

I'd get either one. Their both great. Just choose.
P.S. Later Tomy is releasing a pullback Fairlady Z, so you can get the Fairlady Z body without buying the Fairlady Z set later.
