I have emailed QFM about the digi propo control mod, and they said that you cannot turn. Is this true? (Not doubting you, just pissed cuz this is such a cool mod!!)

maybe u guys think this has to do with digi qs. is that y u guys arent replying? its the mod where you change the pcb board so that you use ir instead of antennas and stuff. To me, the antenna detracts from the looks of the car. a big @$$ grey thing sticking out the top? so ya thats y i want to get a digi propo special for cheap
We didnt mean you lose ability to steer. We meant you dont get incremental digital proportional steering. Your steering will remain as it is now, just on and off. But your acceleration can be gradual. Think of a dimmer switch for your dining room lights vs. a normal toggle (flip) switch. The dimmer can bring power to the bulb incrementally, but the flip switch is just 100% on or 100% off. The reason the steering cant be digipropo is because the steering uses coils and not a servo. Hope this helps.
