What I've Heard...

This is what I heard:
For 2003, MicroSizers will have 4 frequencies.

- 27a
- 27b
- 49a
- 49b

This way Hobbico can stay within the legal ranges but still offer 4 frequncies.

As I understand it, you can run the 4 new frequencies together or you can run 2 new and 1 old.
For example, you could run a 27a & a 27b with the old 49 or a 49a & a 49b with the old 27.
(I guess there's some interference between the old freq's and the new ones in the same band.)

*Disclaimer: I don't know how reliable this info is!!!!
Would be cool though!

I'd like to know why model planes get like 20 frequencies.

Because they differ in frequency by thousandths' of a unit. You can have 6 different 27s, or whatever plane freqs are.

I don't see how Hobbico can get their radios so finely tuned that both can run on different bands of 27...my Shen that is 8 mhz higher runs my MS if I turn the controller right.

I bet Hobbico is going to use some kind of encoding to make a and b possible, or the differ(like you said) by thousands.
