Haha, I Dont Get It!! Haha!!

there, i got ur attention.
i want to do a dual battery mod. i have the stock inside, which is a nicad, correct me if im mistaken.
i want to add a NiMH to this nicad battery.
number 1, will it work?
number 2, what is the diff. with having this setup, instead of 2 stock batterys together.
number 3, instead of making a stand alone charger, can i just keep charging on my controller more then once to get the same effect?
number 4, how many charges will it take to get it fully charged with a NiMH attached to a nicad?
thanx a whole lot, im new to the forums and the wholw tinyrc thing. email me to, that would be great.

You remind me of your friend. If I were as impatient as you I would do a search for the answers which have been answered on these boards.

1) Yes it will work but it's not recommended. You're safer going with 1 type of battery. 2 NiMH or 2 NiCD

2) Probably no difference between using 2 NiMH vs 2 NiCD unless you fully charge the batteries to it's maximum charge capacity (which you most likely will not do)

3) Yes, you can keep your stock charger but you have to mod it so the charging base/wires go directly to the battery.

4) Are you asking how much time it takes to charge 2 batteries? Probably forever if you don't put more voltage to the car by not building a separate charger.

i had to build a sep charger.. it only held liek a 30 second charge when i use dmy remote fo rlike 7 min.. with my 4 cell charger it takes roughly 2 minutes and i get like a 10 min runtime (feels like)
