Short Runtime
we're talking about 20 seconds or less after a 45sec charge.. these are on new duracell batteries in the controller. For all my cars.. Tried charging it on a different controller with a diff set of batteries and same thing..
Cars frequency are all 4.... motors are 2.6, 2.6, 3.8, and 3.0
The 3.8 is in a 2 speed booster.. and also has an aftermarket battery.. forget which one.. that one that last longer....
two out of the 3 have 22AWG antenna's.
but other than that, they're stock..
what could be the cause of this.. i replaced the battery on the controller already w/ a set of fresh new ones .. tried other controllers... i have 4 normal controllers and a 2 speed multi freq controller.

I'm have similar problems with one of my bit char-gs. I have a new black celica and a new yellow rx-7 (both tomy bit char-g). The black celica runs with any type of alkalines, including duracells and duracell ultras. The rx-7 is a different story. Only the rx-7 runs with duracell ultras, any other alkaline, includeing regular duracells, the car would not run. The duraell ultras in the rx-7 yield poor performance. Yet my black celica runs like a dream.
Any suggestions and help would be nice.

the stock tomy batts are NiCad. NiCad's have a power memory problem...so, if u've never fully charged the batt and fully discharged it, the battery has a very short lifespan. [does that make sense ] basically you may need to replace the batts inside the car.
and...the 45 sec charge on the controller does not fully charge the stock battery. Read something about that on the peak charG thread in this forum
