Stock rear end better?

Is it me or is the stock rear end better? It faster than the rear end mod.It slows down faster kind of like brakes so it does not run in to a cabinet.Have any of you mounted the after market wheels on the stock rear end?

i installed the new rear end last night, i prefer it over the stock one, its much quieter, i hated my auldey, but now that i installed the new rear end,bearings and front suspension its a nice car, so much quieter now
