pinion gears
Does anyone know of a source that sells the 6 tooth pinion gears? (just the gear, no motor)
I broke one when I was comparing the Hot Wheels KIT racer motors.
I checked, and it looks like tinyrc does not carry them.....

You mean the little gear that goes on the motor???? I think I have an extra one. Shoot me an email with your mailing address and i'll send one out to you.
On another note: Why do I give out parts I have for free like in this thread or this thread or this other thread ?
I work on the principle of "Pay if forward". I'm hoping my little bit of generousity will make you a little generous to others. If you a haven't seen the movie "Pay if forward", go rent it and see it. Basically, I help you out and you pay me back by helping others out.

If you don't already own a gearset, I believe those come with a spare black pinion gear...

Bill,
Thanks for you generous offer, but I no longer need a gear. I just got a ZipZap performance booster upgrade set, and the 2 motors come with pinion gears. As far as being generous, see this thread in a forum that I help moderate.

Yep, what goes around comes around. Of course, the little gear doesn't compare to your generousity. Props to you.

A mini RC club! Sounds pretty neat. Where are you located?
I'm in Ewing.
I am still mourning the loss of American Raceway in Englishtown, where I raced my 1/10 scale 4WD touring car this past summer/fall.

The KIT pinions are 7 teeth vs. the 6 tooth pinions on the BCG and ZZ cars. I tried the KIT pinion, and the gear mesh is too tight.

I think he's talking about the gear sets that come with the 3 sets of axles.
