another great use for KIT Racers(Bit Racers) other than parts!
heres another helpful purpose the Hot Wheels KIT Racers(Bit Racers) serve other than getting a 2.6 or 2.2 motor, hard tires and battery.
you can actually use it to "break in" the motor. so instead of putting your motor into your bit char-g and holding the forward button on the controller for a couple of minutes, put the motor into the Kit Racer car.
take the motor you want to "break in" and put it into the Kit Racer car without the idler gear and rear axle. next charge it up for 30 seconds, once you take it off the controller the motor is already spinning. just let it sit there until the battery dies. and since the battery is connected straight to the motor, you get a full charge power going to the motor. presto, easy "breaking in" without having to hold down the forward button on the bit char-g controller.

Really, are you sure because I am pretty sure that when you run your car it is only to run down the battery for a fresh charg. but I could be wrong. what do you think?

according to this thread, it seems like it won't hurt it, but could only help.
http://www.tinyrc.com/forums/showthr...aking+in+motor
grabbed from the Bit Char-g guide.
"Cycling:
1. Set your car upside down or place it so that the back tires are off the ground.
2. Turn on your controller and place a heavy object on the forward control. Make sure that the object isn't so heavy that it damages your controller.
3. Wait several minutes.
4. Your Bit Char-G is now faster!
This works because it gives the motor and gears a chance to run freely, warm up, and rid themselves of debris. "

oh yes, and it really does work. Way back when, When the fastest motor avaliable was 2.6, and 3.0s were still on backorder, our 2.6 motors would die a whole bunch, so we mostly used 2.2s for his track. Eventually we started to warm them up before racing, and it made them faster and last longer.
