now you should design some sort of a belt clip so you can put it somewhere when you control it with the joystick. you could use an old cellphone case or something. Just an idea of what i would do.

An idea for the antenna -------
1. Run a wire from the controller pcb antenna point to the
controller plug,
locate an unused pin,and solder that there,
2. Now on the controller plug, u solder a wire(this will be the antenna)to the corresponding pin of where u just soldered.
3. Twirl this wire around the joystick wire.
4. You now have an auto plugin aerial when u plug in the joystick!

Good stuff blacksabbath070!
If you could post the steps you went through to put that configuration together, I'd love to promote this thread to Bit Science.
Thanks.

instructions:
well first i got the idea off this thread: http://www.tinyrc.com/forums/showthr...ari+controller one of the links on that thread provides a picture of the pins color coded to understand which wire goes where ill attach the picture on this post then i took the housing off of the 9 pin joystick port and made sure the wires are on the right pin then i soldered the wires from the correct pin and soldered them to the correct position on the pcb after that i marked what plastic i had to cut out for the port to fit in the controller and i cut away i also marked where the screw holes were melted holes for the screws with a small screwdriver and put it all back together this mod is also much easier then it seems
