to henry, or others looking for cheap bodies
in my other thread, i said that u can use the 1/32 scale model Initial D cars with some slight fender shaving for an alternative lighter body, or just a body that isnt produced by auldey or whatever
heres an ebay link, i bought from this person a week or so ago, fast shipping, and it only cost $15 total if u "buy it now"
here is a FC3s
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3103444615
trueno, the model i have
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3103444616
and im about to buy this, the Sileighty..har har, ill be the only doode with a sil80, this is gonna rock
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3103511565
there is also a FD3s, but i guess shes not sellin it this week...
well im about to shave the fenders on my Trueno model that i have, but since i already painted it all black, the darn enamel is goin to mess up my sanding tips ;/ im not too sure how im going to mount this sucker...maybe some tape will temporarily work
ill tell u how it goes....

OR, another awsome alternative, is 1/32 slot car bodies, no im not talking about those futuristic ones with the wheeliebars...
i forgot the brand, but at my LHS, they had a bunch of bodies, some that i saw were Ford Focus, Opel Astra, Porshe, beetle, Viper.....err...lets just say mostly american/euro cars i think...
but these will DEFINITLY fit. if not, some dremeling to take off 1-3mm will work wonders, and they are very detailed bodies.
the ones i saw were clearbody though, and they come with decals, they cost $5.50-9.99 not bad
the only ones that were painted, were the RTR kits....
you can buy these online of course, but i havent searched specifically...

I would not wreck my $40.00 1/32nd slotcars just to get a body for my TinCars.Plus they are smaller than the 1/32nd size audleys.

i mean to just buy the body, not the whole thing...

oks, i started to sand the fender some..still to make it look neat...
one slight problem is that the wheel base is about 2mm longer on each side than normal...maybe a putty wide body kit would help ......but thats just on my Trueno, since it is a small body in the first place...
