pcb is short for printed circuit board and there is no way to fix it for the
3.8 to work some people may say you con do the jumper mod or the dual
batt mod but thay only work some time your best bet is to swap the pcb
in your zap with one in a clone of the same frequency zap boards are really
weak and i think this is actually easyer than a dual batt

p.s. people really seem to hate it if you double
post around here but i know how it feels i posted
several times about a topic i was having trouble with
and knowone ever answerd me
hope this answers your question and welcome to the
boards

you can use the 3.8 Bit Motor on a ZipZap by doing a PCB Swap, which swaps the PCB on the ZipZap with that of a clone, or a Bit-CharG what ever you prefer the ZipZap PCB cant handle the high RPM motor

Hey zipchap, any word on whether or not RadioShack is going to keep the exclusive rights to selling the Zips in 2003? I've heard it can go both ways.

Since you work at RS and see how bad the PCB is compared to the others, have you ever tried to contact anyone about that? If they wanted a slow car they should have just put in a slower motor.

Thanks for the info Zipchap. You made some very good points. Can't wait for the new models. Your upgraded turbo charge idea would be ideal.

BTW, welcome to the forums.
