Unhappy Help

Hey due to my "mates" driving my bit off tables i have snapped one of the very thin copper wires coming from the steering magnets. i still have the wires atatched to the L and R marked bits on the pcb and one of the wires going to the pcb by the big black thing (what is that? sorry i am so helpless at electronics) where does the last wire go please explain in laymans terms as i am hopelessly lost thanx

Someone correct me if i am wrong.

You sould have 2 wires coming from the "Big Black Thing"

It sounds like the wire that was broke came from this location. You can just solder it back on.
