Question DTM sp vs. x4

Well, though I'm leaning towards the sp, I'm curious as to opinions as to how it compares to the x4.

I understand that the sp is faster (due to less friction in the drivetrain), but I suspect that the x4 handles better in technical courses due to the 4wd. I've also heard the occasional criticism of the sp's limited suspension...

Comments? Opinions?

I would say the X4 has a much more limitted suspension then the SP. At least the SP has king pin front suspension. The x4's knuckles are rigidly attached to the body!

I have a friend that rides both these cars on a 1:10 scale carpet track and he swares the SP handles better. On my TRACK the X4 is better hands down!!!!

I think in one of these two links I mention some comparisons between the two cars:

ABC DTM-X4

ABC DTM-SP

If you would like some more specifics please feel free to ask.

Hey, If you have a Mini-Z (like me) which is RWD. I would get a 4WD no doubts about it! Variety!

I really think I either one is variety enough over a Mini-Z. The fact that the SP is rear wheel drive is practically the only similarity!!! The SP is sooo much faster with a 1/3 more power just from the batteries alone. Then factor in the ability to use a 180 size motor!! It's also quite a lot larger and handles differently with soo much more power on tap.

The SP is like a Mini-Z taken to the MAX!!!! Or as I like to think of it a Shelby Cobra. It's a small compact with a BIG-BLOCK shoved in!!!

Here is another way I like to think of the DTM-SP vs. X4

The SP IS POWER!!!!
The X4 is a little bit less POWER with a lot more control!!!!
