Other Forum

I like this forum. It isn't over moderated like the "other forum". I refer to it that way because typing the name is censored anyways. And probably with good reason. I just went over there as a guest and noticed that, not counting the FAQ at the top of the Zip Zap forum, there are a total of 14 topics posted on the first page. Six of them have been locked. That's almost half of them. Not sure what the deal is with such draconian methods of dealing with ones members is, but I do know it is really nice to read the topics on this forum. PICs are allowed to stay. Even if they are a bit large. Topics are allowed to continue as long as people don't become personally insulting, and the posters feel more at ease. I know many of the folks that are members here are members there too. I'm just not sure why. Sometimes the administrator's posts make me cringe because of the dictitorial way he RULES his domain. I guess people will tolerate a lot of abuse just to feel a part of something. I don't know if it is proper to post this here. But, I felt the need to vent. I'm sure others here have felt a bit oppressed by the moderating methods over there too. I really don't get why so many members continue to take it though.

I have no idea what other forum your talking about and I'm sure I don't want to either by the way you describe it.

I am however a member of a few other forums that have nothing what so ever to do with iti bitty r/c cars. they're both Playstation 2 forums, people there talk about PS2 games and mostly about modchips and the like. Both forums are full of friendly and helpfull people.

just in case your interested they're at www.pe2newz.net and www.ps2ownz.com if you let them know that Purple Penguin sent you then you should definatlt be welcomed with open arms, I'm fairly well known at both places.

sorry about hijacking your thread Azimov. please forgive me
