no cripple capacitor?
I've checked out a few websites and they all say that the old Bit Char-G's don't have a cripple capacitor, while the newer ones do. Is this for just the Char-G's? I have a microsizer, which we all know is the US version, and i just bought mine last week, but there's no cripple capacitor on it. is this normal? i was upset when i opened it and didn't see one. i wanted better range!

I have a Rev 3 47 Mhz Microsizer controller with a Rev 5 car PCB. The only range mod I've done is just to route the antenna straight out the back, and I get at least 30ft of range straight out of the box. Possibly more if I had more space to run it.
Now if I could just get the stupid 350z to run that far...

Don't know which board. I'm new to the mini r/c scene. but i've seen a ton of how to's for removing the cripple capacitor, and mine doesn't have one. and all the sites say the newer models should have them. i just bought mine a week ago.

I had the same problem, but I added a thicker gauge wire, and also a telescopic antenna to my controller and that increased the range of my 350z a ton. I originally had about a foot of antenna sticking out, and that led to some very cool tricks, I could make my car bounce like it had pnumatics, but 7 inches of the antenna is what I'd reccomend.
