Payaso i have a paint question for you
OK i finally decided to paint my booster skyline body, i taped off all of the windows and everything and its geting painted black and i decided to leave the hood clear( jsut cuz its not something you see all time) but my question is my car has been sitting for aobut 18 hours now and the paint still has that "sticky" feeling and i need to add another coat how long does it take for the stickiness to go away and should i add the extra coat after it dries

Well, i know im not payaso but i have completed 1 paint job. My paint typically takes about 10-20 mins to dry, but i give it about an hour. So im not sure whats up with that. To answer your second question, yes, i think you should do a second coat just to make sure its all covered, and u may want to do a coat on the inside. Just dont do alot of coats because thats what i did and my back tab has a hard time fitting in. Hope that helps! Oh yea u may want to do a coat of gloss, and make sure you do a coat of gloss on the inside so the paint doesnt rub away.

if you were using enamel paint...I could be because of the plastic or some residue or something on the plastic. Because I just finished my first paint job. When I primed it, it was still sticky after a day, but after a few coats of paint and gloss, it turned out fine.

I haven't pained a body yet, but the gloss is usually used to ensure a shiny finish and to protect the paint layers from chipping. So if you're like me and you tend to bump into things with your Bit, I'd suggest a gloss coat.

I apologize for not responding sooner, but yesterday Dec 1 was my B- Day and my wife had a party for me..
As for painting your body, I always use Testors spray paint. You should wait about 15 - 20 min between each coat of paint. The paint will stay sticky for 50+ hours.. (long drying time) but it's worth it for the results I get. You can also wait about 48 hours before you apply each coat of paint, but this just drags out the process. Also you should always use a clearcoat of some kind to insure that the paint will keep its shine. Oils in your fingers will dull and strip the paint with time. (clearcoat will prolong this from happening) I hope this helps you... If you have anymore questions, just let me know. Or if you want some pics, just let me know
Let us know how it comes out.

i use the cheapest, crapy, store brand spray paint and my bodies turn out just as great as if i used testors. and ya gotta have the nice shine of the clearcoat to make you look like a pro.
