Exclamation Make your car faster.....FOR FREE!

Ok, Take off the gear on the motor, and the idler gear. Put the idler gear, ON BACKWARD on the motor. Put a piece of paper inside the gear so it will grab the motor shaft. The gear SHOULD touch the one attatched to the axle, and it should go faster. Only one thing changes, instead of pressing the forward button to go forward, you have to press the backward button. Trust me on this one, it makes your car MUCH faster.

Pros-car goes faster
-faster top-end speed

Cons-slower accelleration
-takes too long to slow down
-have to recharge more often

You HAVE to try this, it is easy to do, and makes your car faster, FOR FREE! Oh yea, and without wrecking anything

i have thought about this a while back..but didnt do it...
i just thought that if i didnt use the idle gear itself, it would be a silent car...hehe..

btw..does the paper stay in really well?....i would have tried to glue one on....

I tried glueing it on, but that didn't work because the hole in the idler gear is larger than the axle on the motor, and it will be crooked when it dries. The paper holds AWESOME, and doesn't slip a bit!

BTW, another fun thing to do, take the motor out of your car, give it a big push, and when it gets really fast, turn it to the left or right.

Ok, here, I'll show you how. (You just put a small piece of paper inside the gear)

Here is what you will need:

Pick up the small piece of papr with the tweesers, and insert it into the gear. (you may have to put a larger piece of paper in, it may be too small)

Then just place it on the motor axle, and it works. (the piece of paper I used in the picture was too small, so it didn't work right)

It doesn't matter if the paper is sticking out of the end of the gear, it is normal, and don't cut it off! I did, and the gear just fell off. And put the paper in the gear through the end with the smaller gear! Or else it won't go one right.

Please tell me if this works for you!

Good! Do you like it? I mean, it gives you lots more speed, I'm sure it would work MUCH better with 2 batteries... I am getting an idea here
