does anyone know if the Hobbico MicroSizer controller has a cripple capacitor just liek the tomy one does. because i no that tomy has a cripple capacitor to make the car go less range so by taking the cripple capacitor u get more range. so is anyone knows if hobbico has one also can u pleaser tell me. thanks u
the answer to that is some do, and some don't. I know that mine didn't have a crip cap, but some people with hobbico controllers claim they did. The only way to find this out is to actually open up the controller, or you can just test the range. If the range is really bad (less than 10 feet) then you might have a crip cap. So test the range, if you are satisified with it, then i guess you should leave it be.
There is a crip cap on the PCB itself. there are instructions on how to remove it on www.questformadness.com (some soldering req.) I have not found the crip cap on the controller itself though, but open it up just to make sure.
