Anybody order from ToyEast?

ToyEast has several Auldeys for sale, in three different categories: Mini, Can, and Palm. Anyone know which is the actual Race-Tin? (I want to upgrade the speed and show up the jerk at the LHS who said it was impossible!)

No response yet from ToyEast, so I turn to the group and it's collective wisdom and experience.

From what I know, the "Auldey - Can" on the ToyEast site is the one with the regular remote that comes from the can, and the "Auldey - Mini" is the one with the pistol grip remote. Same car (Race-Tin), different remotes. I plan to buy one of the "Mini" ones from ToyEast soon!
Hopefully I'll be able to beat my 1/10 Losi XXT in a drag race down the street.

PS: ToyEast is one of my favorite sites to order from. It can take up to 2 weeks to get, but the prices make sure for it. Some say the shipping is a little high, but its coming from Japan.. its close to what HLJ would charge.

I have read that post before...but it doesn't say that the "-mini" and the "-can" at ToyEast are the same car...they do not say verison 1 or 2, they just have their own names for them. What I needed to know was which (or both) were what I was looking for.

Your previous post, while informative (and I thank you for letting us all know there was a version with the pistol grip controller), did not answer the question which I posted.

Well... in the pictures they either have one controller or the other. The can ones have the button kind (v1) and the mini ones have the pistol (v2). Maybe you didnt notice... or maybe i don't understand your question.

Steve, sorry, I guess one bit of information was missing... how about this:

Race-Tin v1 (Can) = 1/32nd scale with bullet controller.
Race-Tin v2 (Mini) = 1/32nd scale with pistol controller (same exact car).
Race-Win = 1/16th scale with bullet controller. I'm not sure if there are v1 or v2 of the 1/16th's or not yet.

The Palm is a POS. Its slow and not as good overall.

Undead98 - Yes, that helps! Thank you for the info...and again, I did appreciate you pointing out that there WAS a pistol grip version (I would much rather have that, even without proportional control.)

Philippe74656 - Sorry, my last post was in response to Undead98 - I should have made that clear. I am thankful for your info, it has helped me out a lot!

This is what I love about this forum, rather than that "other" forum...everyone is willing to help each other.

I don't think I'd have a Bit (or even know that Auldeys existed!) if it wasn't for the forum here at TinyRC.

Whats the point of having these fun little things if theres no one to talk about them with?
