When do you have this problem? After draining most of the batteries on my dual battery modded bit, it goes into a slower mode of speed. Its kinda weird, all of a sudden its fast, then it goes off to a slow mode. It doesnt seem to kill my motor though, not yet that is...

No i meant it ran full speed for 20 mins. Now after full charging the motor is going at lower rpms (probably half) with a 2.6 motor. I did the controller mod too. After a full charge the motor doesn't even have enough torque to move the car. It worked fine for 20 mins going really fast.

It's REALLY hard to burn out these motors. Even the generic ones. I've opened a couple up and there's nothing to them. A magnet in the center with coils wrapped around. When I first got a bit clone, I noticed it would go different speeds. The problem was the heatsink was pushing it too hard against the gear or not enough. I only suggest you try that, because I seriously doubt a dual batt config for only 20 minutes can burn them out. If it's still running at that slow speed and you've given it time to cool down, it's not the motor. Maybe one of the batt's is half dead or not getting the same charge as the other one.
