I suppose you could BUT battery life would probably be compromised. What I mean is that total number of times you could recharge would decrease and so would run time. BUT, on a counterpoint, because it is of a higher MAH rating I don't think it would be so bad.
I would say it's a more short term solution..............but then again if you charge you pack carefully (don't let it get hot) and 1st regulate the pack it may be fine. What I mean by regulate is charging and discharging the newly modded pack severly times at very low amperage if you don't have access to a charger that will automaticlly do this.
