got a nikko i racer

i got an i racer the other day, it didnt work at all, returned it for another that did work, but not worth the $30, should have just got another bit, anyway, the infrared thing is cool, i like the controller, but the handling is horrible, its fast though, but spins out like crazy, turns by itself all the time, anyone out there thinking about it, go with the real thing, a digi q, from what i heard they are one of the best of the infrared cars out there.

C'mon. I'm still having fun with this infrared mini R/C. If you're spinning out too much then switch to Wide Turn mode (the switch on the left side opposite to the power switch).

30 bucks vs. 40< and you have to get the DigiQ imported, unless your LHS sells em, but there is a strong possiblity that your LHS might sell em at an outrageous price. This one gift store sells standard Bit Chars for 50!!!.

P.S. Those interested in an iRacer should look for it where all the Nikko R/Cs are. Packaging is red so it took me a while to spot it among all the other Nikko R/Cs.

Ive been in radio control for at least 15 years, i do have it on the easier steering, just an opinion but i dont like my i racer, maybe i got another lemon, i dont know, i do know my other cars handle so much better, ill try some other surfaces to run it on,maybe thats the problem, i dont know, and yes if you are looking for one, they are hard to find, theyre mixed in with all the nikko stuff and if you dont pay attention youll look right past it at tru.
